Download Folder - non-Windows

What is in my download and how to access my new files - Mac/Chromebook/Android/AppleMobile iOS

Accessing your artwork, and a brief overview explanation to the files you have downloaded from The Crafty Witches

How do I get to the artwork to see it and print it?

Once you have downloaded your collection and have unzipped the files, you’ll be cackling with joy at the prospect of creating some magic.

First of all let us look at the files that are in the folder (Chromebook screenshots);

AutoPlay Folder

This folder is where all the pdf files & images are stored. The other four icons are only applicable to Windows device users, so are redundant on these platforms.

Open the ‘Autoplay’ folder.

There are three folders and a system file in here, again the system file is irrelevant, as is the Audio. Do not be tempted to try to use the ‘Images’ folder. All of the more recent titles from The Crafty Witches utilise ‘data’ files, so there will be nothing to see in this folder; however, in our earlier releases, the ‘thumbnails’ were stored here for the Windows interface, and as you’d expect, were not the printable quality you’d need. So that leaves us with the ‘Docs’ folder:

As you can see, all of the files are clearly visible to you in this folder, in portable document format (pdf)

This screenshot is from Chromebook, but your Android, Apple iOS, Mac, Linux, or even Fire Tablet* will be able to view and open in your default reader from here, (each platform will look different).

*as of time of publication, we cannot advise how to ‘Print’ from Amazon branded Fire tablets, although by using the default de-compressor, (unzipper), and file explorer installed you CAN view these files. It is understandable that the producer has made printing difficult, or not possible as this device’s primary use is an e-reader, and likely for copyright reasons ‘printing’ off the documents it displays would be breach of use.
