Fair Use and Copyright

The artwork and/or the designs in this collection are wholly owned or licenced to The Crafty Witches, and the following information makes clear what can and cannot be done, in regards to their use and potential sale.

 You CAN

·        Sell your completed projects for personal gain on a non-commercial basis, whether to fund further purchases, or profit. You may also make and sell for charity or fundraising for your desired cause or organisation. Please be mindful where The Crafty Witches allow use of our/the licensee art and/or design, does not necessarily act as an endorsement of any given action or cause supported by the sale of these projects.

·        Sell your completed projects made from elements in part, or whole from the contents of this download. Where made with artwork from other sources, please always check on the equivalent policy of that vendor/license holder.

·        Resize and/or crop images from the download to make bespoke projects, where your ‘pdf’ reader allows.

·        Use the artwork in electronic cutting machines, whether in full, cropped or resized for the purposed of creating your own personal cutting files, however you may not save the scanned image to your machine, or anywhere else.

·        Share your makes digitally to any social media platform; in fact, we openly invite you to do so, especially in our own communities which can be found in the ‘Helping you Create the Magic’ page. If you are sharing online please do remember to use the hashtag, or topic, #thecraftywitches, even witches like to trend these days. We can also be tagged on most popular platforms with the @wearethecraftywitches tag.

·        Transfer your downloaded files to a USB stick, after all what is a witch without her stick, right?

·        Keep a copy of your downloaded files on another computer as a back-up, or if you like to craft on the go, or on holiday, as long as it belongs to you, and is only used by you.

·        Use the files to complete homeware projects or similar non-papercrafting media, unless specified otherwise at point of sale

·         If your pdf program allows, choose to overprint text and/or sentiments on your project

You CANNOT

·        Use in any commercial capacity, these are for ‘personal’ use only.

·        Share, lend, hire or sell the files in ANY format. The agreement to purchase is for ‘individual’ use only. For clarity this includes:

o   You cannot print and sell the sheets individually or as a kit,

o   You cannot transfer to digital storage media to intentionally share, lend, hire or sell, including any no longer required back up of your original download; clearly this includes listing on auction, marketplace, or sales sites, as well as filesharing software or sites, and/or cloud storage links,

o   If you transfer ownership of your PC/Mac, external or internal media storage, any back-up of downloads must be deleted,

·         Manipulate the colours, art and/or design by third party software, regardless of whether your default ‘pdf’ reader has the facility to achieve this or not. You may, however, use any resizing or cropping, (snap-shot), tools or print in greyscale to colour manually.

Where any breach or infringement of the generous policy is uncovered or reported, The Crafty Witches reserves the right to take appropriate action to remove any or all listings, posts or offers, regardless of their platform; (auction sites, forums, newsboards, marketplaces, cloud filesharing), and pursue the offender(s) to the full extent of the appropriate authorities.

We may even consider releasing the Flying Monkeys, [the Wizard of Oz (1939)].

The use of any ‘executable’ file(s) is done entirely at the risk of the purchaser/user. The Crafty Witches cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage or disruption caused by the running of downloaded files.
